This is a response to the crowded street that Valley St. off Giants Dr. becomes when a little league has games scheduled. We are all supportive of youth sports and encourage people to get involved, but hazards arise when cars park on both sides of an already narrow street.

There have been occurrences where people attending events have parked over the corners, blocking the views of drivers who may not see each other, which also creates hazards for pedestrians walking who might not be seen walking into the street. Multiple drivers have experiences with children darting into the road from minivans without looking. or parents walking to the games on their cellphones, not looking before crossing the street.

The residents in the subdivisions surrounding Lake Hazel middle school ask whomever it concerns that parents/guardians/ of children participating in little leagues games, park in the Lake Hazel middle school parking lot with consideration to residents (who frequently drive through these streets) and pedestrian safety.
