We the residents of Lakeview in Barrington Il move to petition that residents of Lakeview be allowed to park near the school path on Lakewood Dr at all hours of the day by altering street signs to accommodate residents. Currently street signs are in place limiting any residents from parking between the hours of 2-4 daily. This limits families ability to safely and conveniently pick up children from school without the risk of a citation from the Barrington Police. Living in Lakeview, adjacent to a school brings value to our neighborhood. Limiting our ability to park freely and utilize the pathway makes Lakeview not as family friendly and over time devaluing our property. With this petition we would like to adjust our street signs to prevent none residents from parking, not allow and support that of our own Lakeview Residents.

Ridiculous that we get tickets in front of our own houses just bc school is letting out. Change the signs so we can actually park where we live!
