My point is that if you park illegally anywhere else in the town you run the risk of a fine so why is it not the same by schools? Where people are parking is dangerous and fines should b given. Traffic wardens are quick enough to give fines for not paying in a car park which lets face it poses not risk to anyone and it's purely financial reasons for enforcing parking rules. Yet this isn't being done when it relates to children's safety. Please support this so we can get the police and BCBC to take note.

I have spent this week drafting a formal letter to the Bridgend County Borough Council traffic department regarding the inconsistency in fine enforcement near school zones. My next step involves coordinating a meeting with the local authorities to review these specific hazardous parking locations.

Its the same in cornelly at afon-y-felyn. Parents double parking in double yellow lines after a bend that has no school warning signs or speed limit signs or lolly pop lady. Our childrens lives are being put at risk!
BCBC has a duty of care to the children in its wards . Lets hope no one has to sue them over the death if a child !!!!!
Totally agree with this petition. Something needs to be done NOW before there is a fatal accident!
I pick my grandkids up and my nieces and nephews absolute nightmare

I agree, the parking around schools needs to be dealt with everyday
Double parking, cars speeding down Rockfields, driving up on pavements is only going to end in disaster.

Right behind this. People parking around West Park primary often use little thought and cause chaos. Would like to see on the spot fines which may help to focus their minds.
