The schools in Porthcawl all have a parking problem. The police are patrolling as much as possible and say they are educating the drivers. However the minute the police aren't there everyone goes back to parking where they like.
My point is that if you park illegally anywhere else in the town you run the risk of a fine so why is it not the same by schools? Where people are parking is dangerous and fines should b given. Traffic wardens are quick enough to give fines for not paying in a car park which lets face it poses not risk to anyone and it's purely financial reasons for enforcing parking rules. Yet this isn't being done when it relates to children's safety. Please support this so we can get the police and BCBC to take note.
