The Beaver Dam Unified District's School Board created a mask mandate beginning September 1st. Sign this petition if you believe masks should be OPTIONAL in schools. Seeing one hundred people sign this in such a short time is honestly overwhelming. I started this because I felt alone in my concerns but you have shown me that I am definitely not. This is entirely your doing.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have stepped up to support this. We are getting so much closer to five hundred signatures than I ever imagined possible. If you can help us reach that next milestone, it would show the board exactly how many of us are paying attention.

We do not want our child masked up at elementary school and HE does not want to wear a mask, let's give these kids a normal and enjoyable school year.
I believe if u want your child to wear one then that is your choice but If I don't want my child to wear one then that is my choice. And summer school went just fine with out masks so why now.
As a Beaver Dam property owner and parent of 3 graduates of BDUSD, no person should be forced to wear a mask, anywhere on the School Districts property.
I believe that masks should be able to be a personal choice. It doesn't make sense how the school board has handled this. We are required to mask our kids on Sept. 1, but not for orientation, meet and greets, registration, or high school picture day.
Why take survey's from the parents when they were 60% in favor of choice and then the baord members do what they wamt anyway.

Honestly 90% of B.D. is just uneducated, inbred trash. Keep the masks off so we can end some of these bloodlines.

If I want my children to wear a mask or am afraid they will catch the virus, then I’d either have them wear a mask or virtual school. But it should be our choice as parents with our children.
