To Whom it May Concern,
This petition is to end the mask mandates in K-12 schools in Oregon. Mask mandates remove an individual's right to choose their healthcare plan. As parents, it is OUR right to choose the precautions and health care plan that fits the individual needs of OUR children. Each parent and family has the right to choose whether to wear a mask or go without a mask. Let's end mask mandates in our schools TODAY! This petition will be presented to each school district, as well as to the governor Kate Brown.

In consideration of health, we must remember that prolonged oxygen deprivation is detrimental to health. We must also consider the mental anguish our children have suffered since this began. If masking is effective, we should have made progress in controlling the spread of this pandemic already. Use common sense. If children display signs of sickness then they should stay home, but those that are healthy should be supported by the services put in place to help our communities. Education is a service paid for by taxpayers. It is not a place to cause harm.
If a parent and child decide to wear a mask for their safety and beliefs DO IT!! However parents and children whom don't want to wear masks are being forced to do so. I don't agree to our rights being taken away from us. I don't agree that our children will think just because the Government says do something they have to do it. That's not what the Government was intended to be. We have our CONSTITUTION FOR A REASON. WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO RISE. WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO USE OUR OWN VOICE. WE ARE THE MAJORITY. UNITED WE STAND.

Face diapers do more harm than good. Just makes you touch your face more. And they collect so many things that you are getting a big dose of what they have collected.

No child should be forced to cover their face. Its degrading and affects air quality to dangerous levels.
