By signing this petition WE THE PEOPLE affirm that parents should have the right to choose what is best for our children and that our schools must be held accountable when making decisions that affect our children. I believe that there should be a relationship between schools and parents to provide safe schools of excellence in education as we adhere to Ohio Law.
I believe that all information regarding our schools, curriculum, discipline, finance, programs, activities, procedures, etc., must be public information. I believe parents are the schools best advocates and we want to help and support our teachers, administrators, staff, and school board.
The current effort to strike down the mask mandate imposed by the Hamilton City School District is not an issue of whether masks are effective or not. This is an issue concerning government overreach and a parent’s right to choose what is best for their child.
Lifting the mask mandate will allow parents to not only maintain the right to have their child wear a mask to school, but most importantly parents will regain their right to choose what is best for their child now and in the future. This will help in eliminating the uncertainty of any future medical mandates and hold schools accountable to parents regarding these decisions. The momentum behind this fight proves that the HCSD Board of Education cannot keep ignoring the parents they are supposed to serve. They thought they could impose these mandates in the dark but we are dragging their overreach into the light for everyone to see.

No to you telling me how to raise my children. My right to choice not you. Then you try to shut me up! No way
I am just a concerned citizen who believes vaccine and mask mandates are unconstitutional in nature. By ignoring natural immunity they have proven this is political and not about the general wellbeing of the public. Kids shouldn't be learning that wearing a mask is normal. Also the kinds of masks approved for public use have been studied and shown to be ineffective in stopping the spread of viruses including Covid 19. Schools are imposing these just for extra funding. Medical decisions should be made by parents not forced by greed and political purposes.
This forced Muzzle (Mask) Mandate is illegal and must go! This mandate is a form of child abuse and all those that supported the enforcement of this should be brought up on legal charges or at the very least be fired!
Only parents can make “mandates” for their children! We don’t co-parent with HCSD!!’
United we stand! Our children are our most precious resource, and worth fighting for.
Should be able to make your own decisions concerning your children.
