Willowick subdivision and surrounding residential neighborhoods (Moreland Estates, Brentwood South)are banding together in opposition of the Harley Davidson dealership that is planned to move in adjacent to to our neighborhoods. This will affect your lives, health, the sanctity of our residential community, and your property values! The dealership site plan was approved by Brentwood’s Planning Commission and the City continues its support in favor of this relocation. Harley’s business model includes a training track, events & live concerts.

The key thing to know about a Harley Davidson dealership is not that it sells, repairs, and performance tests motorcycles (it does do all of that), but that by its franchise agreement it must sponsor one or two major events each month. These attract hundreds of motorcycles. It also sponsors a customer appreciation event every Saturday that draws 50 to 150 motorcycles. The design of its facility reflects this: there isa space for tables, a trellis, and grills for its outdoor events. These include at a minimum music over loudspeakers and sometimes live bands. There is a stage and training track included in the site plan.

The proposed site is not compatiblein its proximity to residential neighborhoods and the Gardner pre-school.
