In OPPOSITION To Proposed Boulderwood Subdivision

WE, the following signatories, are OPPOSED to the proposed extension of Sunset Road in the City of Lynn, and demand the physical termination of the road in the cul de sac be made in Lynn as subject to termination in the August 22, 1995 City of Lynn Planning Board hearing.

Under MEPA REGULATIONS of 301 CMR 11.12 (6): Agency Action Taken Without MEPA Compliance, WE request the project cease and desist until further MEPA review, based on the conditions subscribed in the Final Record of Decision by the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, dated April 11, 2008, Certificate EEA #14181 as stating : “The proponent must address the issues raised by the Lynn Water and Sewer Commission in their detailed comment letter prior to permitting.”

Our reasons for petition being environmental damage, public health and safety concerns, including flooding and traffic issues which will negatively impact the surrounding residential neighborhoods.

(In comment section, please also state your City and Ward.  Other petitions may be circling which may need a signature too.  Thank you!)

Reaching this level of support confirms that I am not alone in seeing the risks this subdivision poses to our neighborhood. The process has been exhausting and progress feels slow but seeing this many people join the fight reminds me why we cannot back down now.

The traffic is already a nightmare on Sunset. We dont need more cars cutting through our neighborhood. Leave the cul de sac alone.

this is total nonsense. they should have listened to the experts years ago instead of trying to cut corners. enough is enough.

The flooding in our basements is bad enough as it is. Adding more pavement is going to be a disaster for everyone living near here. STOP THIS!
