As we are not against Oyster Farms, the placement of this Oyster Farm as proposed will push recreational use of the recreational users of the waters between McCorrie Point and Sandy Point deeper into the channel it the way of larger boaters and stronger currents. We ask that you oppose the location of this oyster farm. The photos in Aquidneck Oyster Company website do not depict the whole story. The applicant is not from RI. Let kids PLAY in the water....Sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing with out the obstruction of floating bags. Please sign in opposition.

Reaching this level of support is exhausting but it proves that so many of you see exactly how dangerous this location is for our children. I am tired of fighting this fight alone and seeing you all join in gives me the strength to keep pushing against these developers.

Paige, If you look at the maps, it protrudes off shore at a 45 degree diagonal, blocking the use of the shore line once you pass the dock.

This is a recreational area. Sailing lessons, kayakers, boaters, private moorings...not a good spot for the oyster farm.

This area is frequently used by kids and adults paddle boarding and kayaking. Also Sandy point is frequently closed due to bacteria which can’t be good for raising oysters . Please find another location.

Wrong place for an oyster farm. There is no place on Aquidneck Island for industry to interfere with public water activities.

This area has a high concentration of use for swimming, boating, tubing, water skiing, paddle boards, Kayaks etc. Public access should not be hindered for private profit.

I am a kayaker that "hugs the shore" from McCorrie to Sandy Point. I surely am against this!

It looks like CRMC approved this last night???!!! I could be wrong, but that's how I read the application.

No one single person should be able to limit hundreds from enjoying our coastline!!!
