WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, oppose the proposed location of a permanent or temporary dredge spoils transfer site. We believe the proposed location at the Lynnhaven Boat Ramp, during construction and while in use, would disable the Lynnhaven Boat Ramp facility, create a safety hazard for neighborhood children, impede traffic on Shore Drive, obstruct boat traffic in and around the Inlet, create an environmental threat to the health of the River, pose a risk to the Lesner Bridge and represents the least cost effective means of executing this project, among other objections. We ask that City Council and Mayor direct the City\'s Public Works Department to seek another site to accomplish the task of dredging the Western Branch.

Ridiculous idea. Shore drive is already a parking lot half the time. Do not ruin one of the few boat ramps we have.

Think about the bridge and the river before rushing into this. Shore drive cannot handle that kind of equipment.

Terrible spot for this. Find somewhere else. The kids bike around there all day and it is just not safe.

Please move this site. we use that ramp every single weekend and shutting it down for this is a huge mistake.

Totally against this. The environmental impact alone makes this a bad call. STOP IT.

Keep the boat ramp open! so much traffic already and this would totally ruin the area for families living nearby.
