NY State golf courses were open last week near Binghamton and all the times were full as Scranton golfers flocked there. One person per disenfected golf cart maintaining social distance, and other protective measures. If NY can do it last week, we should be able to do it now.
Why allow fishing, but not golf. I normally play alone and don't worry about score cards. It is necessary exercise.
Golfing for some is exercise. Just getting outside and walking the course is a great value for someone’s health.
Golf courses can easily be utilized with social distancing. Golfing can greatly alleviate some of the mental anguish we are going through during this crisis. Please open the golf course.
Please open the course. If you can fish, you can golf. If you can go to the grocery store, you can golf. If you can go to Lowe's, you can golf. There is more social distance between golfer than there is shoppers. Very similar to fishing in an isolated stream.

Opening the course with increased security measures would be a welcome break from the chaos of this pandemic for all golfers in the area. There are easy, common sense solutions to keeping everyone safe.
