Final supporters
Students should be able to come to school on time. This became a problem when the far gate of the student parking lot was closed. People are backed all the way back to the cross streets and what was meant to help traffic made it so much worse. This needs to change right away.

I just saw the count ticking up and if we hit a hundred before the morning bell rings it will be so much harder for the administration to ignore our situation. Please just throw a link on your story or talk to someone in the hall because this traffic is driving me absolutely insane and I know I am not the only one stuck in the gridlock.

Was this "fix" implemented before any sort of school traffic expert was even consulted. I can't imagine these impacts will be considered satisfactory long term by the city or surrounding community. Maybe re-evaluate what it is you are trying to accomplish with experts. For now, open all gates.
I've been late to class due to the new changes and have been sitting in traffic just to get into the parking lot for 14 minutes.
I've been late three times since they closed the gate and I ride a motorcycle so that's when you know it's bad
Traffic has simply been redirected to another gate, but twice the cars. The bottleneck this causes is rediculos and cars are left to sit in the bike lane for far longer than should be permitted. When coming down Leigh you pass a sign encouraging card to share the road with bikes. Sadly, we couldn't if we wanted to.
Staff should stop parking in the student and guest parking lot as well. It is minimizing space for students.
Ive noticed a lot more traffic by the school and the parking lots, its a little annoying to the fact i walk in and out of those lots, and its an inconvenience to other students as well. I didnt understand why they needed this new policy anyways- why fix something that isnt broken?

I live 5 minutes away, it use to take me 5 minutes, now it takes me 7-10 minutes. And the line to get into the lot is awful. We need all our gates open. And just like our swimming pool, a bigger parking lot...
