We, the parents of Lee Siu Yam Memorial School children, respectfully request that Lee Siu Yam sets up online classes for students during the ongoing closure of Hong Kong Schools resulting from the threat of the COVID-19 virus to public safety.
The current home-learning arrangement is not particularly effective, and requires a great deal of parental supervision. Other schools and Universities have implemented live online classrooms which provide far better structure for home-learning and enable immediate two-way communication between students and teachers. We feel that LSY should be offering the same.
