On September 18 2015, Coach Cameron Gary got fired from a complaint made to the district. This petition is made to see how much of a excellent coach he was and how he made this players strive for greatness! This is also going to be shown at the district office.

Seeing this kind of backing for Coach Gary shows exactly how much he changed our lives on that track. I never expected this much support but it proves how many of us believe he deserves to be back where he belongs.

He has helped me develop my speed over the two years running for him and made it possible for me to make it to CIF. We were already short handed last year, and no coach can bring the experience that he has.
My brother is on the track team. Coach Gary has been nothing but supportive and the idea of him being fired over unsubstantiated claims is preposterous. He has consistently been the pillar of the team, leading them to CIF finals last year. I hope this decision is reversed, otherwise the OHS track team will surely suffer.
I was never directly under Coach Gary's care but I understand that he is important to the team. I have received his encouragement despite being in the distance group rather than sprints and I can still say that it encouraged me greatly.
Coach Gary is one of the best coaches I have been able to work with. His experience and knowledge on how the body works ties into training and it allows us to understand why we run a certain way or how to avoid an injury. I thank coach Gary for being such a supportive and patient coach. Bring him back!!!
Coach Gary brought out the best in my son who was new to track and field. His absence will be a tremendous loss to the Olympian team and the young athletes who've worked so hard under his guidance.
Coach Gary is a good coach only to the ones that he favors. I know that's some people on the track team are afraid to speak out because they are afraid of what might happen because all the favorites are seniors. It's not fair that the same exact people get to run every week without having to go to practice. I know the "Favorites" aren't going to say anything that's why I am. Some people come to practice every day and they don't get to run. I think it's time for a change. Most people that signed the petition are favorites or were favorites. I don't have time to wait 3 years to be his favorite and run. I have a dream that one day seniors to freshman can join batons and run together and have a fair team a fair coach and fair treatment. It's time for a change its 2016 it's a new year it's time for a new coach #NewYearNewCoach
This unfortunate news comes as a shock to me. I have watched closely as Coach Gary developed my grandson into a quality competitor in track and field. His premature departure is not only a disappointment to me and my family but a loss for the Olympian family as a whole. Being a former (retired) coach myself I recognized the quality in his work and his unique ability to work with and develop students. It would be advantageous to OHS, in my professional opinion, if consideration was given to what this gifted coach brings to OHS and the effort be made to seek his return. This is my humble appeal to OHS and the system: Please Bring Coach Cameron Gary back to Olympian High School. Consider the students who otherwise will be at a loss for dedicated leadership and where or who will they turn to. Just think about it...then do it.

Coach Gary made my first year of track a success. He always took the time to film and do extra things for our track team. Without Coach Gary, our team will not be able to be trained by a coach who is more encouraging and supportive than him. Let Coach Gary stay.
