The park board actually listened to us and those lights are staying on until ten thirty like they should have been all along. I am just so relieved that we finally have some common sense prevailing over the grumpy complaints about field hours. Keep an eye on the schedule though …

I honestly did not think this would gain so much steam so quickly but here we are and it is wild to see so many people agreeing that nine o'clock is just way too early to shut the lights off. It feels like the tide is finally turning against those grumps who want to ruin our summer nights at the park. Keep that energy high because we need to show the district that the folks who actually use these fields have a lot more pull than the noisy few.

My son has practice until late and this would be a huge bummer for the team if they cut the lights. Keep them on!
The neighbors around the park knew there were fields there before they bought their houses. Stop trying to ruin it for everyone else.
10:30 is totally fine. Kids need somewhere to play instead of just sitting at home playing video games all night.
9pm is way too early. Just let people use the field. Why is everyone so obsessed with complaining about everything these days?
