i live on Main Street (Rt 39) and i work at Pioneer Central School....this is 2014...why is NYSDOT using 1950's technology and better yet-Materials?! Start from the Beginning....from the bare bones and Build a Better Road already!)
This state route through the middle of our village has lots of truck (as in semis) traffic. The potholes are so frequent that it's not possible to dodge them. We deserve better than this for our taxes.
This community goes above and beyond for each other. Majority of the residents live in Arcade , NY work there. Rt. 39 is the main road that takes you into and out of the village. This is the worst I have ever seen these roads in this condition.
my husband has to drive 39 daily and he hit a pothole on a snowy day and broke a sway bar.... last night while driving to tops I hit so many just before tops that I wasn't sure what was happening it was too late to move, I was sucked right in. please help Rt 39.
Please NY help our businesses in Arcade. It is so difficult to say in business with all the taxes - so please repair our road so I don't have to hear one more person say they do any thing they can to avoid driving through Arcade.
this road is terrible. we take the surrounding roads which are now getting bad instead.
I've already taken my car to the shop one to have exhaust replaced. It's time for this road to get the attention it needs it's only going to get worse.

This road is a disgrace. Repave immidiatly. Set the lanes correctly back to 4 lane to reduce unnecisarry traffic delays. We've gone backwards... Enough, time to move forward. It is a safety hazard in its current condition. Lane reductions were an ignorant solution.
