It is time for the town of Espanola to budget some money and cut cost elsewhere to have this road fixed.
This is very important as it is costing vehicle owners who use this road (HWY 6) money in repairs to their vehicles.
I have personally seen blown shocks, blown ball joints even a bent rim and flat tire and I am more than certain there are several other parts that have been busted on other vehicles from this road as well.
The first impression of people passing through town is that the roads are terrible, not only vehicles being damaged but it is a safety concern as well while drivers are trying to dodge these holes, rough parts and swells there is potential of an accident or a bystander being struck.
This isn’t just a roadway, this is a highway used for emergency vehicles.
Imagine being in the back of an ambulance while near death while paramedics are trying to keep you or a family member alive while rattling and bouncing all over the place while paramedic tools and other materials dropping and scattering all over the place and the floor?
I think it is time Centre Street is repaired for good.

I have submitted a formal request for a meeting with the Town Council to review the specific repair logs and budget allocations for the Highway 6 corridor. A local news outlet is currently reviewing the documentation I provided regarding the safety hazards for emergency vehicles. I will provide a summary of their response after our initial briefing.

The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to formally request a meeting with the town council to review the maintenance budget for Centre Street. I have begun drafting the official proposal to present during our upcoming session.

This road has been a well needed upgrade now for years. I have hit those pot holes a few times and sometimes there hard to avoid as every year they get worse and all we see is the town patching them up in the spring every year and maybe sometimes as they come apart during the summer. These are not patch jobs the whole highway has to be redone. People pay taxes for a reason do something to fix this much needed problem
Yyyeeesss desperately needed.. new ingredients of pot hole mixture is needed. Yes the cost of such will eventually keep the repairs in tow...
Anybody remember the last time hwy 6 had any major repairs ..because it sure the hell needs it
VALE SHOULD HAVE TO COUGH UP SOME FUNDS AS IT IS THERE HEAVY LOAD THAT IS DOING MOST OF THE DAMAGE!
I was there last summer and had to yell at my wife to slow down and get in the other lane. We ended up with a flat tire and changed it at a beach on the outskirts of town.

It is getting to so bad down the main road that I am going around from second to Tudhope to get out of town because the road is redictulas. Patching is not doing anything except wasting time and money of the tax payers.
