I am currently gathering photos of the worst potholes from across the region to include in a formal packet for the local department of public works. Send your photos of damaged tires or hazardous road conditions to the email address on this page. Post our link on your neighborhood Facebook groups so we can force them to pay attention.

The momentum behind this campaign is undeniable and it proves that our neighbors are just as fed up with these crumbling roads as I am. Please post this link to your Facebook feed and email your local representative today to demand they prioritize our safety.

Get it done and NOT just that waste of money Patch work that doesn't last even a season. Also that 2mile stretch of road from the Corning Glass exit heading East needs done too! Thank you very much.
I'm tired of repairing my car twice a year if not more. I'm always getting alignments, struts, shocks and tires replaced due to the conditions of our roads. I've owned my 08 Hyundai Sonata for almost 8 years now and over the years I've been putting so much money in my car that it exceeds its own value. It's getting a bit rediculous. I'm an equal payer of my taxes; it would be nice to see some of our tax money go to better things like like re-paved roads not only to save from damaging our vehicles but also for the safety of our loved ones while driving on these roads.

Roads in elmira suck almost as bad as the town fix them

Elmira roads needs to fixed badly, our poor cars that we pay for are getting ruined not trying to be rude but its very true we deserve to have decent roads to drive on instead of swerving for potholes, alot of parking lots need to be fixed too but mostly the roads need it bad

I am so tired of hitting these horrendous pothole and not only throwing my alignment off but I broke awheel rim on one!!!!! Its completely unnecessary!!!!!!! The city of Elmira needs to step up!!!!!!!
