This is another case of the big box stores having no regard for residential communities when choosing where to locate their operations. Normally when you hear about this type of thing you think of WalMart. This time it's Kohl's.
We all realize that Kohl's is looking for a profitable area to set up shop, every business is. We just believe that Kohl's current location or another pre-existing commercial location in the Bel Air area is much better suited for such a store.

The conversation surrounding this proposed development has deepened as more neighbors share their concerns about how it will alter the character of our community. I have been listening to your thoughts on why preserving our residential space is worth the effort even when facing corporate expansion. We are currently gathering further information on the local zoning requirements to ensure our position remains grounded in reality.

Reaching this level of support confirms that many of us share the same concern for the character of our neighborhood. It is encouraging to see our community align on the importance of preserving the residential nature of Forest Hill.
