I logged on this morning and just stared at the screen because I honestly cannot believe how many people have joined this fight. It is wild to think about that land being covered in concrete when I look at the space today and I am just so grateful that so many of you see the same disaster coming that I do.

who is even going to pay for these infrastructure upgrades? we all know our taxes will go up to cover the mess they make.
Enough with the big box stores. We already have enough traffic and noise in our neighborhood. Keep it local and keep Winona the way it is.
this is going to ruin everything i love about living here. NO WALMART.
Totally appalled by this plan!! We do not need our town looking like every other generic strip mall hellscape.
traffic is already a nightmare during festival season. we dont need 3000 parking spots making it a permanent disaster every single day of the week.

Keep big box out of Winona. It is not needed and it will just kill the small businesses that actually care about this town.
