The Vineland Board Of Education has voted and passed the uniform policy to start this school year 2013-2014. Uniforms should not be required in our public schools. The dress code we currently have should be strictly enforced instead of all students being made to suffer. This petition is for all parents and students who are against the new uniform policy.
The momentum behind our push to stop these uniforms is undeniable. Post the link to your Facebook page right now and text three friends to get them on board. We need to keep this pressure on the school board until they listen.

I don't like that my kid's have to wear uniforms. I feel they should dress with normal everyday clothing to there choice, of not offensive. I have to buy 2 sets of clothes which also is a hassle and waste of money, they need other clothes besides uniform's, but also don't get to wear often and go to waste. I don't see the point of making parents spend double.

Uniforms stifle student individuality and teach our children to conform rather than forge their own path.

Maybe they should just slap numbers on their backs like they treat prisoners! Uniforms are NOT for public schools!!! I have to go out and waste money to buy clothes my kids wouldnt wear anywhere but school. If kids are coming in dressed inapropriatly take it up with the parents, im sure the parents will get sick of having to either pick the kid up or bring them clothes. Dont punish the rest of the kids

I just think that these uniforms suck the life out of students and make them more likely to rebel

I feel this dress code is a wast of time and money. I think the vineland police have a lot to do with this dress code. And the problem with this petition is that people don't no that it exist.

There's no point to having a uniform that no one follows
