Uniforms will make a lot of people depressed because it doesn’t allow them to dress how they like and some may not be comfortable in the uniform so it’ll bring down peoples confidence

hello, I am a student at ocala and I would like to give my reason why we shouldn't have uniforms at school. A lot of kids including me went back to shopping for new clothes for our school ( spending $100+ worth of money). Kids would want to express their style and who they are at school. And feel comfortable.

This school shouldn’t have its dress code changed because fisher/other schools is coming. Keep it the way it was, as it is simply being ignorant with the students, because why do we need to change the way we dress or wear our clothes because of other schools. This is almost like a punishment! Leaving the dress code as it was would’ve been the best.

I do not believe it is fair to have the kids wear uniforms, they already had to wear them for 6 years in elementary school and should be able to be uniform free in middle school, of course following certain restrictions as usual but let the kids be kids.

Reenforcing dress code rules deduct the ability for middle schoolers to feel free and confident. Middle schoolers should be able to wear whatever they want and schools shouldn’t treat them like they are in Elementary school. We all have grown and matured enough to know what is inappropriate and what not we do NOT need to wear outfits that are for kids.

my mom already spent a lot of money for my clothes, financially it took a lot of work to afford that. why tell us so late? this is unnecessary and has nothing to do with how we concentrate in class
