We fo not need another storage unit in this area. We have enough fas t food joints and need some upscale businesses on Winchester. This is too close to the wetlands being restored on the adjacent property.
Too many businesses in the middle of our residential area!! This will only increase the traffic where young people are walking and riding bikes. Causing more potential for accidents.
I moved here in 2007 because I liked the semi-rural feel of French Valley. A little growth is expected, but it now over crowded and traffic is horrible. They changed all the zoning. It's not right.
This area should not be zoned for commercial use as it is embedded deeply within a residential-only area. A commercial property of this type will steeply devalue the investments made by all the homeowners in the surrounding neighborhoods. Additionally, commercial properties are known for increasing air pollution nearby due to significantly increased vehicle traffic. Thus, this poses a real health threat to those living nearby. As others have mentioned, self storage facilities can be a nexus for crime, as well as have deeply negative environmental effects. Overall there are a myriad of reasons why this area should not be permitted for use as self storage.
I live in sir vets crossing. This building will bring much more traffic, both car and pedestrian. It will bring a criminal element that is looking to break into the storage units. For these reasons I feel this building should not be allowed.
Please stop this build. Thx

As a homeowner in Spencer’s Crossing for the last 13 years, I do not want storage next to our community. We were promised different types of businesses, like Target, not storage units.
