I drove past the intersection again this morning and realized how much traffic this change would disrupt for my neighbors who use this route daily. The local planning office has been quiet about our concerns but they cannot ignore us forever while we keep pushing back.

Seeing this kind of momentum feels surreal because it confirms I am not the only one worried about our daily commute. This is proof that our neighborhood is paying attention and wants a real say in how these roads change.

I go through this intersection 5 times a week. The "T" would slow things down and more people (than already do) would start cutting through the Stowe Motel.
I live on Barrows Road and use this intersection daily. Over the holiday week, mornings, the traffic was backed up to 10 Acres. I can only imagine a T would be worse.
Don't change to a "T" !!! It makes no sense at all. This is just another example of so-called "experts" creating new problems (look at the roundabouts in Hyde Park and Waterbury!!!) - and costing taxpayers more money.
Traffic already backs up on Luce Hill on busy days and turning the intersection into a T would make it so much worse. We already lack the infrastructure to handle the tourists attracted by the mountain. Please don't make the situation any worse. The people who live here need to be able to get to work and school on time.
Intersection seems to be working fine the way it is. I drive emergency vehicles past this intersection quite often and have very seldom run into problems there.

The T-intersection plan is outdated, insufficient, and not workable with the current volume of traffic and also the turning radius of large trucks. We need to plan a new route for Lower Luce Hill through Stowe Motel to join a round-about on Mt. Road and Cottage Club Road.

My wife and I vote to not change this intersection. We have used this intersection as second-homeowners for the past 13 years and believe it works fine as is. We are not aware of any accidents at this intersection. The State should spend money where it is really needed such as adding a left turn lane northbound at the Moscow Road/Route 100 intersection.
