The T-intersection plan is outdated, insufficient, and not workable with the current volume of traffic and also the turning radius of large trucks. We need to plan a new route for Lower Luce Hill through Stowe Motel to join a round-about on Mt. Road and Cottage Club Road.

The existing intersection works for those who pay attention. There needs to be some better signage such as "Do Not Block Intersection" for those trying to turn left onto Mountain Rd. Give them a "stop line" on Luce Hill so they know where they should que up for a left turn. If this were made into a "tee" intersection, the traffic would be backed up worse on Luce Hill. At the very least, they should include a "right turn only" lane for those coming off of Luce Hill and heading into town.
This winter was just a warning........it will get worse and it won't be pretty.

I believe a T is going to slow down the natural flow of traffic.

The intersection appears to function well. Better informed folks than me see fault in the proposed change. I say we delay construction until the community can sort all this out, considering growth, the Vail Resorts acquisition, the potential Vermont Country Store.

Apart from having questionable benefits it is a use of taxpayer money (local and statewide) that might be put to better use.

It sounds like more work needs to be done before changing an intersection that seems to work fine??

My wife and I vote to not change this intersection. We have used this intersection as second-homeowners for the past 13 years and believe it works fine as is. We are not aware of any accidents at this intersection.
The State should spend money where it is really needed such as adding a left turn lane northbound at the Moscow Road/Route 100 intersection.

A T intersection makes no sense whatsoever. Stop the nonsense.

Don't think a T would gain anything. The bike path crossing is a disaster, should have left that catty corner it worked more efficiently!

Changing it to a T would create more congestion/back up vehicles driving into town down Mountain Rd.
Love it the way it is

I'm from Stowe, not Brandon.
