I am against a 5 Term Year being imposed by Nottingham City Council on those schools where they are the employer. I strongly object to the Council's threat to sack 4237 school employees if they will not agree to new contracts. The change, if imposed, will leave most secondary schools on one pattern and most primary schools on another. For families with children in both primary and secondary this will be a disaster. I demand that the City Council reconsider this proposal before it is too late.

The feedback from local families keeps pouring in and it confirms that this split schedule will create pure chaos for our households. Take this link to your own social media pages and tag your specific local councillor to demand a pause on these contract threats.

This is going to be a nightmare for parents trying to sort out childcare. My kids are in primary and secondary and the schedules will never match up. Stop this now.

Totally unfair on the teachers. How are they supposed to manage their lives with this hanging over them? Leave their contracts alone.

MY KIDS NEED STABILITY NOT THIS. Council needs to listen to the people who actually have to live with these changes.

Threatening to sack thousands of staff is just disgusting. Why are they trying to fix something that isnt even broken?
