Dear colleagues,
We
recently received an email from the operations centre announcing that our bank
payments are being changed. The email claims that ‘a recent review’ has taken
place and significant in-efficiencies identified and as a result, the dedicated
staff that work as part of the bank team are now being affected. It has been
decided that our pay arrangements will be changed! <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The
trusts website states that, “Our staff matter – we trust,
value and develop each other. We build a great place to work, where people are
inspired to be the best they can be”.
Were we asked or
consulted about the pay changes? No. Does changing our pay arrangements to monthly
inspire us? No, is this building a great place to work? No. Honestly how much
money is the trust going to save?
Is
it fair that if we work a shift on the 1st January we won’t get paid
until 25th February? No.
We
are the front line staff of Cambridge and Peterborough Foundation Trust and we
deserve the same respect that we offer our service users. Do we work
collaboratively with all service users? Yes we do, do we show them the respect
that they deserve? Yes we do and are we always open and honest and consultant
them with the issues that matter most to them? Yes we do. Then why doesn’t this
trust give us the respect we deserve?
No
one was involved in a consultation, no one that is consequently suffering due
to these changes.
We
as staff deserve the same respect. Say NO to the pay changes.
Please
sign the petition and keep our bank pay weekly.
Total lies. They dont value us at all if they are cutting the bank team like this. Fix it.
