Boycotting Rent Until The Pool Is Done!
We the undersigned residents of The Griffith all moved into the complex under the promise, guarantee and sales pitch of a beautiful pool that remains unfinished.
The deadline for the pool continues to be delayed.
Most of us would not have moved into the building had we known it would be empty all summer.
Because the land lord and its adversaries represented and warranted that the pool would be finished by April 2018; then May 2018, June 2018, July 2018 and now August 2018- we are taking a stance!
NO POOL, NO RENT!

I’m only here 3 months, I’m paying a premium and not getting the amenities I should be getting at this price range.

Hello Mr. Korver, They have absolutely lied in order to get unsuspecting nice residents to sign. They filed an eviction just over a week after my daughter arrived 3 months or so from far away knowing her bank had just placed a new account hold on the new bank here. We are suing them. I urge many to sue. They are misrepresenting which we have copies of all over the place including the website POOL. The residents are not enjoying a nice summer and it is disgraceful. I am here with my daughter and see nice residents with nothing to do. It is very sad and not acceptable. They cannot be permitted to legally get away with this and take such advantage of hard working folks that moved in based upon being lied to. So sorry you are also suffering as many are and they are Blatantly Ignorant to complaints...Sincerely, John
PS: As a father I have stepped in because my daughter is being evicted for reasons that are not justified upon moving in and from there things escalated some of which include the matters mentioned here. I am flying in from out of town to oversee this in court. We feel very badly for the residents at THE GRIFFITH that have had to experience management who mishandled many issues and NO POOL for the 4th Of July and an upcoming Record-Breaking Heatwave is Deplorable. If you are considering legal action contact me for a law firm that is interested in hearing from you. So terribly sorry for all of the resident suffering at The Griffith. May you Ultimately Prevail. With a severe Heatwave about to take place and 4th of July Tomorrow NO POOL NO FUN for the residents and they expect rent! Diplorable Management
I completely agree and I’m fed up with the lack of concern from The Griffith. From the pool, the security gate, & the reeking smells of marijuana. This place is charging us a ridiculous amount of rent for NOTHING.! I’ve noticed ppl jumping the short gate on the side street. To random people roaming the building asking weird questions. In the 7 years I’ve lived in LA I’ve always felt safe. This is the first time I’ve had to get an alarm installed for fear of burglary. This building is NOT secure, anyone and everyone has access to EVERY door, on EVERY floor.!

Beyond ridiculous that the pool deadline has been pushed back so many times. Over 2/3 the summer will be gone with no swimming. The verbal promise of a completed swimming pool was a major decision factor in moving here and I feel lied to for financial gain of the building. And I would bet any amount of money the current "deadline" will be pushed as well (for the 6th time???)
