Our neighborhood is fighting to prevent a 300+ capacity dog kennel being built in our rural residential area. We live on a narrow privately maintained gravel road, and the owner of the 5 acres who wants to add this monstrosity has already been tuned down once by the aldermen in the small town we live in. She has reapplied less than 7 months later, hoping to wear us down. We love dogs, but not the constant noise and traffic this business brings to our otherwise peaceful country setting.
