THIS IS A PETITION TO HAVE A CODE IN THE CITY OF MOUNTLAKE TERRACE WASHINGTON AMENDED. THERE IS A CODE THAT ONLY ALLOWS UP TO 4 DOGS WITHIN A HOME AT ANY GIVEN TIME INCLUDING THE RESIDENTS OWN, I AM ASKING TO HAVE THE CODE CHANGED TO ALLOW A MAXIMUM OF TEN DOGS THIS INCLUDES DAYCARE DOGS AND POTENTIAL BOARDERS. WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT I HAVE THE ROOM TO MAINTAIN THEM AND KEEP THE NOISE TO A MINIMAL, AND TO RESPECT MY NEIGHBORS AT ALL TIMES. PLEASE HELP ME SAVE THE BUSINESS THAT I HAVE CREATED FROM THE GROUND UP AND IS MY DREAM AND HELP ME CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THE LOVE AND CARE FOR MY CLIENTS DOGS THAT THEY DESERVE. THANK YOU
The city council continues to hide behind outdated codes while refusing to acknowledge the professional reality of my dog care business. I am currently spending every waking hour preparing to confront these bureaucrats because they seem determined to kill my livelihood for no logical reason.

The city council cannot hide from this wave of support anymore. Their restrictive code is choking my business and your backing proves they are on the wrong side of this fight.

Precious Paws is an excellent business. The Amlaks are compassionate, trustworthy and competent people. Their home and dog area is well maintained, and safe for both pets and people. Wouldn't board anywhere else!

A professional dog business that is licensed with the city should be allowed to care for up to 10 dogs at a time.

my dog would be DEVISTATED if he lost his ability to be here when we're out of town. We've tried so many other dog sitting options and this is the ONLY place we can take him that he's not completely traumatized!

Precious Paws is an amazing business ran by a fantastic citizen. there is no reason a code should prevent anyone from running their business. I can only imagine someone had complained for a silly reason. These dogs are well taken care of and she had clients all over the sound seeing out her skills. Ten dogs in her care get more attention and affection than two in a normal household.

People should be able to have as many pets as they want and sustain to a well kept and fed environment. This could get rid of Mills and people that aren't willing to take care of these precious babies.

This is a reputable wervice that is greatly needed by residents. There needs to be room in the codes to allow for home based businesses to run in a professional, safe manner such as Precious Paws!
