The concerned residents of White Plains, NY stand in opposition to the proposed drug and alcohol detoxification center at 37 Dekalb Ave, White Plains (former site of the Nathan Miller Nursing Home)
The proposed center raises significant safety concerns for the entire White Plains community.
Its in the vital interest of all White Plains residents to speak out against the De-Tox facility!
The silence from the planning board is heavy but we are still digging into the property records to challenge the zoning permits. It is exhausting work to stay on top of these filings while life carries on but your resolve keeps me tethered to the cause.

Reaching this level of support has been exhausting but necessary. Seeing so many people recognize the threat at Dekalb Avenue proves we are not alone in this fight.

This is a residential neighborhood with young kids everywhere. Not the right place for this at all.

Have you seen the traffic on Dekalb already? This is just gonna make it a nightmare and way less safe to walk to the park.
