Final supporters
We are requesting for the park based next to the Cwm Talwg Community Hall at Plas Cleddau of Barry is saved from demolition. The park is used by Nifty Kids Childcare Clubs for children aged between 2-11 years old, as well as the local parents/community. There are dog walkers, parents, grandparents, childminders and the children that attend the School 'All Saints' that use this park daily.
We suggest that the park is revamped rather than demolished to accommodate all these people with updated facilities and equipment, including people and children with disabilities such as; wheelchair access.
We hope that everyone who uses the park and the facilities support us in our attempt to save it and sign our petition.

Having lived in Cwm Talwg for 30 this park was used by myself and friends on many occasions, now it's the turn of our children. Park to play on, greenery to kick a ball, why would you take that away I ask???
We should be encouraging more outdoor play not limiting it by demolishing community playgrounds. The bigger picture needs to be taken into consideration such as the positive impact outdoor play has on the health and wellbeing of children and even the parents and long term benefits rather than just the cheapest option at the time.
This park is used by many many people. Children play and keep fit whilst parents, childminders, grandparents etc chat andirectly spend time together. Dog walkers join in. Teenagers congregate. Older people who may not be very mobile have the opportunity to walk and enjoy the fresh air. This park is used and very much needed.
As a local Childminder it would be fantastic if this park was renewed as it is currently not appropriate for pre school children. Non affluent areas have parks renewed over and over again but Cwm Talwg is continually overlooked :-(
This park is right next to a school and out of school club. It needs a little bit of money spent on it so that the children can continue to enjoy it - as they do every day. It would be so sad to see it go, the children would really miss it and it provides valuable exercise and outside activity which we should be encouraging.
Really upset regarding the news of demolition. Why? Both my children loved this park and many other children. Always used for Easter Egg hunts n many other occasions

I don't understand why they are even thinking about demolishing this park.I use it every day to take my great granddaughter to the swings.
