Children need somewhere to play. We try to promote and encourage them to get outside and exercise yet areas are being made out of bounds.
This was mine, my mothers and two little brothers primary school. I think it is a great idea to keep it a playground for children since they’d play in it after school anyway. It’s a great space for children to go rather than them hanging around places where they shouldn’t!
I've seen children playing in Car Parks because they have nowhere to go. Once the land is built on it is too late. They just want to build houses because it makes plenty of money for the Developers. The children need a safe traffic free zone to play.
This area should remain for a place for children to play in there is no other area for children to play as the newry beach area is also under future development for housing,
I have trained the children from Ysgol Y Parc on this field for he last 4 years also before that I helped train them as assistant coach for 5 years
I love playing there
I such a large community we need open green spaces for the children to play.

Spent many football games and years on that field with parc school and after school, could make a decent park and a small 5 a side football pitch for the kids without charging like they do at milbank
