The grant application was approved this morning and the funding for the new toilet facilities is secured. We will now begin the procurement process to finalize the installation schedule. Monitoring the timeline for these renovations remains our primary focus.
Our toilets are showing their age and need to be replaced. Walmsley Parish would like our visitors to enjoy clean, accessible facilities. We are now collecting signatures of people who would benefit from these improvements, to support our grant applications. Can you take the time to sign and share with friends?
The scale of this response confirms the community demand necessary for our grant applications. I am currently finalizing the formal request package to present to the local council board.

The hall provides as a great asset for the local community. With many events hosted throughout the year, which are also free, I know it therefore makes it difficult to find the money to complete refurbishments. We would be lost without the support of the hall at the Christmas Lights Switch On and other events, such as marking the Jubilee.

Accessible toilets so important for everyone, including proper provision for nappy changing please.

Hygiene is of great importance as proved over the last two years during the covid problems. With the huge mix of ages from pro school to the over 65's this becomes much more relevant.

Theses toilets are antiquated and need to be brought up to date. I feel that the hall, as an ongoing events place, would be more appealing with these improvements.

The toilets are bare and cold and in need to serious renovation. It must be very unpleasant for the nursery and after schools groups who use the hall daily. Better facilities would also make the hall more attractive to groups wishing to hire the hall. This would increase revenue and make a much needed community facility more self sufficient

My children use this fabulous facility most days for before and after school clubs as well as extra curricular activities including performing arts. They are always moaning about the toilets!
