Uses personal reasons and feelings to decide who gets to participate in games. Very opinionated to ones attitude rather than talent and skill. Rather than coaching to uplift and better the team even more, she’s fine with not setting the bar higher and challenging ourselves. Other coaches are capable of this head coach position and should be granted an offer that is taken for granted of our current coach.

One practice spent with her and it’s terrible she was arguing over something so dumb and continues to argue with player even after the player dropped the argument. She isn’t very welcoming towards new players. She expected new players who don’t have any idea what plays they run on her team and expects them to know what they are doing and yells at them for doing it wrong after she doesn’t even teach them. Players ask for help and she just starts it without even a walkthrough. Just isn’t a right fit for this team. Never happened last year.

She has no control over her emotions. She has no regard for her players. She belittles them in front of the spectators. She plays the victim. She doesn't know how to approach each girl. She compares them to Mater Dei. I'm sorry, Segerstrom is not Mater Dei. At first, i thought it was just my daughter because she tends to be outspoken & hard headed and i tried to have the coach's back, but i see & hear things and after the few incudents that occurred with my daughter, i no longer have her back

Very unprofessional. It's sad to hear that so many of the girls were on the verge of quitting due to her style of "coaching." I'm glad to say their love of the game kept them hanging in there. I love watching my niece do what she loves to do and what she is great at. It would be a damn shame for someone to make the game not fun for her anymore.

I really feel like there are other coaches that would represent segerstrom girls basketball in a better way. Ever since she has been the coach no one comes to enjoy watch the games anymore. She isn’t a great coach for these girls none of them want to even play anymore. Many of these girls have been in outside team & around other types of coaches and she is the only one that makes them not enjoy the sport anymore they put so much time into this sport to be where they are now I don’t think it’s far for them to feel like they can’t enjoy or be discouraged to going to game or a practice.

I want my school to go far in basketball next year! & she’s a big problem from letting that happen!!!

Need a new coach

I’ve seen her and it’s just terrible, it went from a CIF winning caliber team, to a team who doesn’t even want to play because of her. A very unprofessional coach who is very one minded and takes the fun out of a sport these girls fell in love with.
