Reaching two hundred and fifty signers will provide the tangible evidence needed to secure a meeting with the transport board. This momentum is promising but we must maintain our focus until the goal is fully reached.

February 28, 2020

Reaching this level of support confirms that many of us recognize the clear need for better transit options between our neighborhoods. It is heartening to see our community align on a practical solution that would improve daily travel for so many people.

The momentum behind this proposal shows that many neighbors recognize the need for better connectivity between our local hubs. We are nearing a significant milestone that will demonstrate the strength of our consensus to the transit authority. Please reach out to your neighbors today so we can reach this target before we submit our formal request.

My daughter lives on filton ave. I just dropped off my grandson and now making my way home to Coombe Dingle on route 3c 77 then 508. There are other routes but takes 1hr and 20iah mins!

Currently there is no bus service at all going from Linden Road at the top of Cranbrook Road to Gloucester Road or Cheltenham Road despite both of those roads lying almost directly at the bottom of Cranbrook Road. If there was a bus from Westbury going along Henleaze Road then down Cranbrook Road to Gloucester Road at the bottom this would be ideal.

This would be such an asset to the individual shops in Gloucester Road, Westbury village and Henleaze road. We would go back and for more often if it was on the bus route. Henleaze is cut off from that side of town and we need accessibility to and from Gloucester Road.

It's vital for local shops & services including doctors surgeries & businesses & community classes & groups to able to remain part of the wider community & for giving people of all ages the chance to benefit by having easier regular access. Car parking is an issue in WOT & Henleaze & these areas are in danger of being cut off.

These areas have suffered a huge loss of bus connectivity over the years. Lost routes include 20/21/22, 585/6 and the 15. We no longer have any direct connection between Henleaze and Gloucester Road, let alone to Eastville, Fishponds, Easton and countless places in between. No wonder everyone lucky enough to own a car drives everywhere.

This service is well needed! I remember struggling with two tots 35 years ago to get to Lawrence Weston from Horfield/Lockleaze. I had to go to town then back out! I have 2 disabled young adults now who could benefit from that service as I am trying to help them become more independent!

This would be so useful and keep cars off the road. Parking near Gloucester Road is difficult and I'm sure residents would welcome a reduction on outsiders parking in their streets.

Many years ago there was a bus the No.25 which came along Henleaze Road, Down Coldharbour Road to Gloucester road and then up Cotham Brow to the Hospitals but it was cut. It was not a success because the bus didn't start until 9.00am and finished at 4.00pm which meant that regularly missed it because they were delayed at the Hospitals or too late for the office in the morning.
