This would be so useful and keep cars off the road. Parking near Gloucester Road is difficult and I'm sure residents would welcome a reduction on outsiders parking in their streets.

Many years ago there was a bus the No.25 which came along Henleaze Road, Down Coldharbour Road to Gloucester road and then up Cotham Brow to the Hospitals but it was cut. It was not a success because the bus didn't start until 9.00am and finished at 4.00pm which meant that regularly missed it because they were delayed at the Hospitals or too late for the office in the morning.

Bus routes seem mainly to go in and out of town. A cross town service like this would be very helpful.

I agree, it would usefully fill a gap in the current local service .

This would result in less private cars using the whole area.

Truly something our communities need. This service could be great for cutting car journies and emissions, as well as creating stronger communities!

Would make big difference in cutting car use.
Reduce isolation of vulnerable groups.
Currently, too much emphasis on trips into centre which, whilst essential, ignore need to connect up other communities in city

...and if First aren't interested, perhaps we should thin about running one ourselves

Bristol City Council need to take positive action to reduce the use of private cars and this can most easily be done by providing buses that link areas across the city and NOT just on the main routes into the city. This must also be done alongside stopping parking on all bus routes to allow buses clear Passage so allowing them to keep to the timetable.

This service would really benefit the community and reduce car usage.
