Final supporters
It has been less than 24 hours I've used the new thumbs up or thumbs down rating system for Netflix. I dislike it and have seen others dislike for this as well. Before, for the past 6 years I've had Netflix, I've had an accumulation of movies I've rated based on stars 1 star for poor, 2, 3,4 and 5 for loved it. This did one of two things for me, it helped me to know what movies I've seen because the rating would turn fromantic red to yellow once I've rated it. Secondly it would tell me what I've already seen. In years of rating shows and movies I felt like I had a library of well thought out ratings. Now I have one of two choices and no way to really know if I've seen the movie or TV show. Please reconsider going back to the original style. Others have spoken out on a Facebook group dedicated to Netflix that is a tight nit community giving suggestions and enjoying the product we enjoy using. Thank you for your consideration and I hope you can listen to the people's opinions.

Go back to the star system. It was way better. How can I thumbs up a movie that was only a 2 or 3 star. Now I don't know which way to vote when it was just an okay film. Maybe you need a "just okay" symbol between the thumbs up and thumbs down symbols.
The new rating system is horrible. I cant tell if a show is a bad, okay, good, or excellent. Only if it matches stuff i watched. That is stupid. I need to know if a show is bad before i spend 15 mins watching the first bit of a bad movie. They're going to lose my subscription.
Please bring stars rating back, even if thumbs stay. I find myself not clicking on nearly as much new shows to try because 97 % match is on most everything, and I know a lot of then I didn't like. This sucks
I hate the new rating system. I have over a decade and a half of investment in the old system, and now that's worthless. I guess it may be time to cancel my subscription, unless they change back soon.
Please return to stars. For years now I've been rating so Netflix will give me accurate suggestions. The yellow stars also tell me what I have viewed. The star system is far more nuanced than Yes or No.
I love the star ratings because I can decided on a more accurate movie to watch based on my scores, I still use the star rating system on the dvd version and would love to rate movies on the streaming again. Also I go to the DVD version just to decide on movies to watch on the streaming based on the star review it has on that version.
The thumbs up thumbs down is NOT ACCURATE!

As someone who values great cinema, the star system was a good way of keeping track of how much I loved a film...or films. It also helped in informing me and others of how others felt about these films. Netflix is not Facebook, or a "friend" or a strangers comment to a friends post.
