I love the star ratings because I can decided on a more accurate movie to watch based on my scores, I still use the star rating system on the dvd version and would love to rate movies on the streaming again. Also I go to the DVD version just to decide on movies to watch on the streaming based on the star review it has on that version.

I'm so fed up with Netflix thumbs up or down rating system. I've given it a year to prove me wrong, but it is stupid beyond belief stupid and a complete failure. One ends up wasting so much time watching junk you'd never have looked at before when there were written reviews and star ratings. An example of dumbing the world down, without room for nuance and discernment.
BRING BACK the STAR RATING SYSTEM, but add in HALF STARS as well, which WOULD BE an improvement. Lets get this mistake rectified.

I did a trial Netflix I liked it except they got rid of star ratting which made it difficult to find worth while movies. I won’t sign up for a permanent subscription until they bring it back.

I do kinda wish the bring back the Stars Rating system as well. Because you can tell which show is bad which good by at their rating. Like or Dislike don’t work very well on Netflix because we don’t see the ratio at all.

I don't ask that Netflix do away with thumbs, but maybe Netflix can compromise and offer both rating systems simultaneously, so the user has his/her choice. Also offer a way to hide things without giving a low rating.

I know it seems like an insignificant thing but I would greatly appreciate it if you could do this for us. I believe that the old method would be better for all users because there needs to me a little grey in between the yes and the no. thank you.

I have contacted customer service asking for the old system back. I have been a loyal customer for years. I refuse to use this new system and have not rated anything since it switched over.
