Hey Neighbors! Please sign our petition! We’re asking the Chamblee City Council to approve and build a sidewalk along N Shallowford Road (between Peachtree Boulevard and Savoy). Currently there is sidewalk along a portion of the road (closer to Savoy), but there is no continuous path, especially once you get closer to the N Peachtree intersection.
There is a beaten path along the side of the road that many people currently use for various uses (commuting, exercising, walking children to school, leisure, etc). Please sign and encourage the city council to make pedestrian safety a top priority!

The City Council continues to ignore the danger on N Shallowford while people are forced to trudge through dirt just to walk down the street. We are currently drafting formal demands to force their hand because excuses about funding are nothing more than a pathetic choice to value pavement over human lives.

The Chamblee City Council can no longer ignore this momentum while families are forced to walk through dirt and mud. We have built enough pressure to show them their inaction on N Shallowford is dangerous and unacceptable.

definitely need a sidewalk. I have walked from the toyota place to Plantation Lane on uneven grass by the toyota shops.
Looks like a good sidewalk here is needed. Make it wide enough to be actually useful. It’s odd - looks like money was spent for a bike lane, but not for pedestrians.
Please make it safer for us to visit our loved ones! We need a safe place to walk with our 1 and 3 year olds.
I will gladly sign this petition! I live ON North Shallowford and have 3 small children! We go on a lot of walks and are so happy to see this petition!!
Running with a double stroller down this road is super treacherous. I would love a sidewalk!!
This is definitely needed as a safety measure!
