We at Bright Generations have a wonderful Pre-K teaching team. It is an environment where the sum is greater than the whole. Mr. Nico is one of the reasons why. On Wednesday, September 24, Mr. Nico was let go from the school.
Nico developed a personal relationship with our children. He played with them, he loved watching them learn, he was a disciplinarian, and at the end of each Pre-K year, he would give out awards to the children for their best quality - most athletic, best sharer, etc. We feel like he should not be let go without a fight.
Of all the teachers that have been in our kids' lives, none have had as much impact as Mr. Nico. He is kind, talented, patient, warm, smart and funny. He has a gift with the children that cannot be replaced. The decision to let him go should carefully have considered all aspects of his impact in the classroom. Please bring back our Mr. Nico.
