The school administration confirmed this morning that Mr. Allen will be returning to his classroom in January. We successfully secured the necessary contract reinstatement through our formal meetings with the district office. I am now transitioning my focus to monitoring the transition process to ensure this commitment is honored.
The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the district administration later this week. I am currently drafting the proposal for that discussion to ensure our points are presented clearly.

I have never felt ashamed of my association with Duchesne until this evening. 13 years of my life were wonderfully spent with Mr. Allen protecting the DASH community and offering the most genuine compassion to all he encountered. So deeply dissapointed

I can not even remember how long I've know Alan. He's been a fixture at my beloved DASH and his sudden and unexplained departure is a detriment to current and future DASH girls. He has been our "protector" and has loved us as his family from day one.

As a former Admin. staff member I was dismayed when I heard about Mr. Allen's sudden removal, after more than 25 years. There seems to be an atmosphere of distrust and lack of respect in the school at the moment - so very different from when I worked there.

Mr. Allen is a big part of what made Duchesne feel like home to me during my time there from daycare to graduation. Without his presence, Duchesne will be lacking that special energy that differentiated it from other schools and made DASH a community.

My girlfriend is an alumn of Duchesne and I used to bring her lunch time to time. Mr. Allen was always the first one I saw and was always sure to keep all the visitors in check. He was quite the character. These actions do not do this man justice.

I attended Duchesne from K-8 and Mr. Allen was a star! His "good morning, Ms. Culottas" brightened mine and my sisters' days during our time there. He is a wonderful person and deserves better than what you're giving him. Bring back Mr. Allen!

Welcome back Mr. Allen! You have been missed!! And don't worry about the letter. After what happened with Mrs. Gleaves, anyone with some common sense would've hired an attorney. And I mean anyone.
