I really thought this might just float around in the void for a bit but seeing the momentum build makes me realize how much we all really do want this little ceremony for the kids. It feels like we are suddenly all on the same page about how important that final walk across the elementary stage actually is for them.

Please bring back the ceremony. We want to see our kids cross that stage before they head to middle school.
My son has talked about this for months. It would be a shame to cancel it now when they worked so hard.
This is ridiculous. Kids need to be recognized for making it through elementary school. Let them have their day.
My daughter is so bummed out. School should be about celebrating them not hurting their feelings.
Its just tradition at this point. Why change it now? Very unfair to the 6th grade class.

THESE KIDS EARNED IT!! DONT TAKE THIS AWAY FROM THEM
