The owners and residents of Dubai Hills Estate are in dire need of a community mosque. There are over 100 Muslim families that call Dubai Hills their home.
This petition is filed to communicate the urgent need for a Mosque for all muslim residents of the Dubai Hills Community. Keepin in mind the fact that completion of the mosque may take time, we urge Emaar to provide a Musalla as an alternative and interim arrangement to enable us to fulfill our obligations as Muslims.

We hit 250 signatures today and the exhaustion of this process is starting to settle in. It is difficult to keep pushing when the silence from the developers feels so heavy. Your support is the only thing keeping me focused on the goal of securing a place for us to pray.

The lack of response from Emaar is draining but I am still sending emails every single day. We need a place for our families to pray and I will keep pushing until we get that temporary space.

When people asked for a GYM in maple, they provided it within months. Also, the multi-billion dirhams mall has been delivered since many months now and Emaar is still struggling to build a simple mosque. DLD should take action and force developers to provide mosques and essential amenities before malls, dog parks and all the other crap.
for prayer i need to travel 15 mins in a car at the very least. every community in dubai has a mosque, there are so many muslims living in dubai hills please make the mosque a matter of urgency !!
It has been over 2 years since I moved in, we bought the villa based on how close the mosque would be. I have emailed emaar countless all they say is that it will come soon.. it has been over 2 years-close to 3 now. Honestly the only community in uae without a mosque. Spending millions of dhs only to travel to barsha south to an over crowded mosque.
When EMAAR made there pitch to convince me to buy a house in Dubai Hills they told me that there will be multiple mosques inside Dubai Hills so that was one of the convincing factors for me to buy in Dubai Hills so really disappointed to see there are no mosques here or under construction.
We really need a mosque in DH, one of the main reasons we chose Acacia A was the Masjid. I want to hear the adhaan everyday and feel like I'm living in a Muslim country

Cant agree more with the stated position. This is indeed an extremely urgemt requirement. I would even suggest to use the plot btween Sidra and Mulberry for this purpose as that appears to be a central location for all residents and provides ample space even for a temporary arrangement. Thanks!
