We propose building a grand mosque on top of Mam Tor, making it the first in Castleton. This mosque would serve the many Muslim visitors and locals who currently have no place of worship in the area.
Designed to blend with the natural beauty of the Peak District, it would be eco-friendly, inclusive, and a symbol of unity. More than just a place of prayer, it would be a cultural and spiritual landmark for all.

The feedback has been heavy and the opposition is loud but I am not walking away from this. Behind the scenes the planning remains grueling and the resistance is exhausting yet the goal feels more necessary than ever. I am staying in this fight because walking away now would be a betrayal of the vision.
