Blackpitts Mosque is one of the new mosques serving the Muslim communities in Ireland, especially to those in Dublin. The owner has been very generous in providing a free facility for the Muslim communities all this while. The maintenance of the mosque has been financially funded by the owner without charging the communities. Recently, the owner has added a sister area as well after a renovation is done. Since then, there have been social activities such as wedding functions, prayers, halaqas etc for sisters. There have been at least three people who have embraced Islam in the weekly halaqa. This is very promising, and inshaAllah more activities and participation from the sisters will be seen in near future.As part of the muslim communities, we would like to extend our gratitude towards the owner for their generosity. May Allah bless your work and contribution toward the development of the community. InshaAllah this facility will be part of the owner continuous charity that brings goodness in this world, and Hereafter. Very recently,there are discussions going on to close the sister area for other purposes. This will be a great loss for everyone, as the sister will lose the opportunities to pray, socialize; engage with fellow Muslim women, etc. As one of the society in the ever-growing Muslim community, it's in our responsibility to voice our opinion in a peaceful manner.
