I thought this might be an easy way to get the board’s attention and to let them know that we would be interested in a called meeting to discuss the crime situation in our neighborhood. There has to be some changes! I know everyone has very little time for a meeting so I thought this might help to see who would be interested in a called meeting to discuss moving forward with Security in Canebrake! I have been hearing from so many of you who are just as worried about our safety as I am. This started as a way to see if we could get a meeting together, but the amount of people reaching out shows just how much we all need actual change in our neighborhood.

Seeing this level of support confirms that I am not the only one in Canebrake who feels unsafe in our own homes. The momentum we have built proves the board cannot ignore us any longer.

They should check every car without a sticker at night. Hey name, who they are coming to see, etc.
Thanks for doing this! We are very much in favor of gating the community and increasing security!
Yes I agree we need security that will pay more attention to the non residents riding through our neighborhood.
We need better security with video and limited access in and out of the neighborhood.
We need to have a fence around the entire neighborhood. It is ridiculous that we have so much crime in our neighborhood.
We want to be assured of our safety.
We need fence on rr and a gate!

My truck was broken into last week and I am sick of it. Really need a gate or at least some patrols out here at night.
