Purpose: Protect our subdivision from un-wanted visitors, especially those at night who have not been invited and generally, shouldn't be here.

Goal: Gather signatures from a large percentage of people within the subdivision to determine if installing two gates built at both entrances of Dry Creek Farms Subdivision, is in fact necessary or popular.

Context: As many of you have seen or heard over the recent months, random acts of crime have been happening within or around our subdivision. Theft being the most reported crime in recent months, you can track in real time these incidents here. Within Goodlettsville itself, Areavibes pulls public record statistics for an easy view of crime categories that you can check out, if interested. You can also find an incident that happened as of 10/28/20 in the area WKRN: "Siblings Charged after crime spree across Davidson County".

Task: If you feel having gates set-up at both entrances of the subdivision would help, please sign the petition.

Next Steps: Once we have enough signatures, this petition will be submitted to the subdivision committee for review and potentially help us protect the community from un-wanted guests.

Thank you.

Enough is enough. Had my truck rummaged through twice in the last month alone. Getting tired of watching my back every time I pull into the driveway. Put up the gate.
