Moment of Silence and Recognition for Daniel Decker

As you've probably all heard, one of our classmates, Daniel Decker, had a severe house fire Friday, January 19th. While he was perfectly capable of getting out of the house alive, he instead climbed back up his stairs in attempt to save his mother. Daniel and his mother both did not make it out of the house. Dan is a true hero, and Morris Knolls lacks to express that. The only recogniztion Morris Knolls gave Dan is they had teachers telling their students that they can go to guidance if they needed to. Dan is a HERO and deserves much more respect then that. Although his death may not have impacted EVERYONE in the student body, the school has a whole should come together and do way more then what was done today. We did not even get a brief 2 minute moment of silence out of our 7 hour day. All we are asking is for a moment of silence for our peer.
