Modera Reynoldstown is forcing residents to use a new service (Fetch Package) in place of receiving packages directly to property. Why is this a problem?

  1. No option is given to the residents for receiving their packages
  2. Residents are forced to allow a 3rd Party handle their property.
  3. The original shipping party (UPS, Amazon, Fedex, USPS, DHL, etc.) will deny any responsibility and liability for damaged products as they will not be able to identify whether it was them or Fetch responsible for the damage - leaving the resident at a loss and inconvenient situation. They will claim the resident was responsible due to being the party that provided the shipping address to Fetch in the first place.
  4. Residents now have to take an extra step in receiving their packages by remembering and taking the time to schedule a package delivery.
  5. Residents are now restricted to their apartment for the scheduled delivery time from Fetch, otherwise have to rely on the package being left at their door in the hallways.
  6. Delivery times may not be available for residents schedule, removing the convenience of the package room where the packages could be received by the resident at their own convenience and schedule.
  7. Impedes on the ability and purpose of expedited shipping (Amazon Prime, Overnight, Same-Day) due to being restricted to scheduling the delivery, potentially resulting in late deliveries - or waiting additional time for basic delivery.

I have been reading your stories about lost deliveries and the frustration of waiting around for Fetch to actually show up. Management remains silent on these concerns but they cannot ignore the growing list of residents who refuse to accept this inconvenience. I am currently documenting every single issue you have all reported so I have a complete record to present when we finally sit down with them.

Seeing so many of my neighbors come forward to say that this delivery service is unacceptable gives me real hope. Knowing that I am not the only one frustrated by being forced into this arrangement makes me feel much more confident about approaching management. We have built enough momentum now to ensure they cannot ignore our concerns any longer.

This service has a bad rating on the guest experience, and it’s being forced by our apartment complex I which my lease did not include.

I do not want to deal with a third party to deliver my packages, it is more inconvenient than the complex not having a package room suitable for a building of this size, or enough Luxer lockers which had been part of the sell when signing a lease.

I don’t want to have to schedule my packages through another service and have another set of hands & chance of something going wrong with my things. The reviews for fetch are absolutely horrible, worst than the reviews for this apartment building as a whole.

This is absurd and it also compromises the security of the building.
